The Art of learning and thus reading and writing was one of the most powerful forces in the ancient Egyptian civilization. Almost all of our known knowledge about the ancient Egyptians came from the work and art of the ancient Egyptian scribe.

Thoth was one of the earliest Egyptian Gods and among other duties was the God of writing and knowledge. He is believed to have written the spells in the Book of the Dead.

Each item is made from resin and coloured black with a soft polished finish.
